  About My Business
I started my own graphic design business only after working quite successfully as a professional, full-time designer for a variety of non-profit and corporate organizations ranging from the Children's Museum of Richmond to Circuit City Stores Corporate. With these diverse experiences under my belt, I am able to confidently manage projects that vary in media, size, scope and budget requirements.

About Me = Type A + Type B
With just the right blend of creativity and sensibility, I tackle the "flighty graphic designer" stereotype head on. In fact, I enjoy the best of the right and left-brained worlds as what I like to call a "creative nerd." Growing up, I was crazy enough to shave my head in high school but never crazy enough to skip homework. That would simply ruin my perfect G.P.A.

Now as a graphic designer with over five years of experience in the field, I pair my creative instincts with organization and professionalism. I actually started out as a painting and printmaking major in college. Yeah, imagine your parents being okay with you becoming an "artsy" college grad. Well, thank goodness mine were. After graduation, I quickly figured out that there weren't that many businesses out there who wanted to hire a really creative person "just because." But, I found that I could both express myself and make a living by becoming a designer. So, I went back to school for a bit to study computer graphics, and the rest is history. I am married to my lovely mathematical husband, and we have a super dog named Zoë who currently runs the household.
